Evaluations

An evaluation starts with your actual file.

It tests fit with your assay, your report and your review process, and it has a defined finish line. Routine clinical use needs its own validation and agreements.

Three stages.

  1. Define the use

Who receives the report, what question it answers and who reviews the interpretation. Reports are produced in English.

  2. Evaluate the evidence

Agree an authorised sample-transfer process, analyse your actual export and compare the report with a defined review plan.

  3. Decide what comes next

Review the limitations, the validation still required, delivery responsibilities and commercial terms before routine use.

What to put in the first email.

Leave patient names, raw DNA and medical records out of it. If the evaluation goes ahead, we agree a proper transfer process.

  • Your laboratory

Name, country and a business contact.

  • Your assay

Assay or instrument, software version and export format.

  • The report

Who reads it and what it is for.

  • Volume and review

Approximate monthly volume and how results are reviewed today.

  • The question

What you most want the evaluation to answer.

Clinical review is part of the plan.

An evaluation names who reviews the evidence, who is responsible for clinical interpretation and who authorises a report for its audience. Those responsibilities are agreed before anything reaches a patient.

Report preparation does not replace professional review. Safety-critical findings are marked variant by variant, and the validation and licensed oversight they need are part of the proposed scope.

Questions labs ask first.

Can you support our exact assay?

Compatibility is assessed with your actual assay and export. A file extension, an instrument brand or a parser alone does not establish validated report coverage, so send the technical details first.

Can reports carry our laboratory’s branding?

Yes, branded reporting is part of the workflow. We agree your identity, report structure and intended audience during the evaluation, then review the resulting report together.

How is it priced?

Per test, with volume tiers and no subscription. Scope and terms for an evaluation, including any custom content, are agreed directly before it starts.

Is self-service registration open?

New laboratory access is arranged with our team. Existing lab users can sign in here.

Can an evaluation report be used for patient care?

No. An evaluation tests fit. Routine clinical use needs its own validation, agreements and licensed clinical review arrangements.
